Miccosukee Land Co-Op

Miccosukee Land Cooperative (MLC) is Tallahassee’s Intentional Woodland Community. It is an inspiring community just east of Tallahassee where land stewardship, and a deep-rooted connection to nature flourish across hundreds of forested acres. The Miccosukee Land Cooperative was founded in 1973 on 344 acres. Today, amenities like a community center, a pool, and natural boardwalks and paths lay the foundation for the community and are the heart of community gatherings. Homes are unique - ranging from geodesic domes to cabins. The MLC is peaceful and rural, but still only about 15 miles east of Tallahassee - it is remote beauty with accessible urban connections.
